Having established contacts and sources in France and Europe for the last twenty years, we are able to provide our customers with the very finest decorative antique mirrors. Since 1820 when the looking glass evolved into the decorative mirror we know today, due to a new technology, mirrors were more widely produced and became an established decorative focal point in interior design. Our wide selection of gold leaf and gilt mirrors are creations of 18th and 19th century French craftsman and were made during the periods of Napoleon I, the Directoire, Charles X, Louis Philippe and Napoleon III.
